are the old tecate fours really as fasta sa people say... ive heard people on this forum say how much faster they were than honda an suzuki 250r's... how many horses did these machines pull.

(yes.. the old Kawasaki Tecate 4's were the fastest of the 250's)

 

The tecates are very fast they will beat all 250cc machines but if you really want to make them cry send an email to bandbracing@sbcglobal.net they make a 330 kit 360 and 400 I heard the 330 kit makes 60+ horse and they are exremely fast then. Dave at IRL will hook you up with some pretty wicked st@@ too.

I have a Z400 with a pipe and 440 kit. My Tecate(with stock pipe) beats my Z in a 300 ft drag race by about 15 bike lengths! The Tecate doesn't handle real well though......Through in some corners or a couple sharp bumps and the Z will pull away.
