Will a 360Kawi hang with a Kodiak, Outlander, or Vinson?
Having bought an old Mojave this year and realizing that it doesn't cut it when trying to ride with the 4x4s in the mud, I have to make a change. I'll be looking for a new mid-sized 4x4, but everyone I look at seems to have it's downfalls. The Kodiaks look really good(not sure about the difference between the 400 and 450s though), but they have a reputation for being easy to tip over. They are also fairly pricey. The Vinsons are relatively cheap(on sale now for $7900 Can), but don't have a locking front diff), the Outlander has a good reputation but there is not a dealer(that I am willing to deal with) near my area. This leaves the Kawi 360. The quad looks good with its locking front diff, sealed oil bath rear brake, hi/low trans. Does anyone know how they compare to these other machines? Is it under powered? They are CHEAP! (On sale now for $6300 incl winch). Opinions?

cant say how they compare to the other bikes you mentioned, but i wouldnt say the P360 is underpowered---with some fine tuning to the carbs, i would think you would be happy----when trailriding with the bigger rigs (polecat 500) I have never been left in the dust, just a little weak on top end speed. But definitely not underpowered.

considering the price spread, and that the prairie includes the winch????
Maybe you should try to get a test ride on all of them, and see which feels better for you---I chose the 360 over the 700 Prairie cause I know I get carried away and didnt wanna get killed going as fast as the 700 will. Gotta say, with my mods, I am very happy with the 360--Im 6'2" tall and bike fits me really good---also i am told the kaws have the plushest ride---I have been on some long runs and have never been fatigued or gotten a sore ***
