Have prairie 650 and get annoyed with the fan running as much as it does. Have been told with the addition of an aftermarket cdi unit this problem will subside some. Is this true? Also just bought a 750 Brute Force and have none of this.

Correcting jetting, adding additives in your coolant, cleaning mud from your rad from back to front will also reduce you fan running times. The fan never bothers thou I'm more concerned if it doesn't cut on when it needs to.

My fan runs much less after the Dynatek CDI. By this I mean after I park and shut it off. If I am runnig it hard and shut off It will run a tad but not cycle to or three times like with the OE CDI.
