I have lost power from belt slipage. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also----Has anyone made a snorkle for the Praire yet?
If so How did it work?

 

How deep of water do you go in? The intake for the belt and carb are up pritty high. If you are sucking water you are going way to deep.
And what have you done to cause the belt to slip?I have over 400 hours on two Prairie 400 4x4's and only ocne has my belt sliped and that was because the intake snorkle had come off at the belt cover. You must really be stressing that thing.
