Well in the trails your kfx will definetly keep up with any 450,if racing it all comes down to rider,i've beaten a 450r on track with my kfx. However with evenly skilled riders the 450's are quicker, but the kfx will hold its own at just about everything and its a great quad.So congrats man.

Any quad can be made to keep up w/ other machines cc for cc and mod for mod. The KFX is down 50 cc's. My Athena can keep up w/ any 450cc quad apples to apples. In the trails handling, suspension and ability can make up for a lack of cc's.. In the wide open stuff it is different and cc's do matter.. How fast do you want to spend is "always" the answer..
