Default shredded belt

Just installed boonedockers nitrous kit on Friday. Went sand dragging yesterday. I hit the nitrous button and heard a bad noise. I checked and all the teeth were coming off my belt. I have had the belt on there for about a year and 1/2 doing hard drag racing. I have a new belt on the way. Has anyone else ever shredded their belt drag racing or mud bogging? Just curious these belts seem pretty strong.

Default shredded belt

I shredded mine doing about 90kms an hour on a gravel road. Scared the hell out of me when it just locked up and started skidding down the road. When I took the cover off, the biggest piece left was about 3 inches long. The rest was just bits and some string. And that was the original Kawi belt, and it only had about 900 kms on it. Luckily, I had my Dayco belt in the back seat. Twenty minutes work and back on the road again.
