Does BF650i share BF750i's problems?
I need help. I sold my P700 several months ago, and now I am ready to replace it. I understand that many BF750i owners are disgruntled at the number of problems being encountered. First, what are the most prevalent problems? And will those same problems likely show up on the BF650i? If so, I'll probably go with the BF650 or the Rubicon 500. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Are you looking at the 650i or 650? If you are looking at the 650, it would feel alot like the prairie that you had. The 750 has a few problems, but most are easily correctible. I have had mine for 2 months and I have not had a problem with it. I have had it floating in a pond, and I have rolled it already and after a few oil changes, it was back to good as new, without a scratch on it. The prevalent problems that you will hear about in here would be tie rods/ends, steam in the carbs when in the water, and the tippy feeling. Tie rods will run you about 170 bucks, there is a post on Nyrocs forum about helping the steam issue, and the tippy part can be fixed with wheels and tires. If you are talking about a 650i, then your guess is as good as mine. I can see there being much difference between the 650 and 750, but I am not the person to ask. My dad has the 650 and it is a nice machine, but I would not trade my 750 for it any day. The IRS is a must for the way I ride. Good luck

well, i haven't ridden a BF750, but the BF 650i has some suspension upgrades, different front A arms and different shocks. it sets about an inch lower.
the 650 has an annoying system of engaging the front end (4X4), which i assume is the same as the BF 750. (i am hoping that maybe the VDI copperhead may allow the speed sensor thingy to be bypassed). on the plus side, the 650i is the finest atv i've ever ridden. my interest is trail riding so i have no need for the power of the 750, and the IRS is a good thing.

I have got an 06 BF 650 Realtree Camo. I really enjoy it. I have not had to put it in 4-wheel drive once. I blew away an older Yamaha Kodiak 400 and a Honda 350 ES Rancher. It tackles the hills really good. It is very easy to control on tight turns. The only problem I have had with it so far is that it is cold natured and it has to warm up. It is also a gas guzzler. But hey it is a 650 V-twin. This ATV is quicker than my S-10. Good ATV

I don't know much about the BF50 or BF650i, but I have an '05 BF650 with the solid rear axle and this bike is awesome. Plenty fast and the solid rear axle and lower stance compared to the 750 make for a very stable ride. The 2005 BF650 is just a P650 with newer plastics. The P650 seems to have been a reliable and proven machine. I agree with bruteforce650guy in that the Brute is cold blooded. I let mine warm up for 10-15 minutes before riding.
700cc, what made you sell the P700 in the first place??
