Default Wow I had an interesting dealer experience!!!

I dropped my BF750 of almost 5 weeks ago and just got it back today. I had to get the recall done which took most of the time. That is fine the other week plus was due to them not have ever of ordering the new eng. brake actuator. The lights were flasing and no engine brake means bad actuator. They lied the whole time saying it was already fixed when I asked them about it periodically through the weeks. So I assumed as soon as the tie rods came in I would be done. Wrong, I called customer service a made a complaint after a few weeks that it wasn't fixed yet and since they finally called after three weeks saying I needed to show them my recall notice???? What bull. So I called kawi. Another week passes and magically the tie rods show up. Call and the say it is ready and I ask so everything is fixed and he goes OH no not the actuator. So he "orderes" it again claiming it was on backorder again a total line of crap. Another week goes by and finally the owner calls in and has one overnighted. The GM up there had been handling my atv and actually did order the part it came in and no one knew. The owner starts yelling once he finds out we called kawi and asked if we knew the part was available why we didn't fix it. It is still under WARRANTY. I finally get the ok that it is fixed this afternoon and find out they won't test drive it to make sure it is all done cause we had an inch of snow which was melted by noon. When we go there to get the bike they had one of there bikes out on the lot after telling it was too dangerous for them to test mine!!!! I walk in the dealer ship to sign the papers and right off the bat the GM asks why I called KAWI on them. Cause it took forever and I was lied too. He then says to me he is going to punch me in the M>>>> F>>>ing head. That is crazy just cause I called Kawi on them for lying to me numerous times. He calms down and then starts on me again saying he is going to kick my A>>. Is it me or is there something wrong with this dealer. Midwest Kawasaki near St. Louis is the one. Was I at any fault. The dude even got off his butt and started to walk towards me from behind the counter to hit me. There were even three other people in there that were my brother and two other guys that were just standing in there. Dude is nuts please if anyone uses them stop. That is ridiculous.

OMG I could call the BBB and call the local rep. They need to be told that the customer is allways right!

You should have egged him on so you could end up owning that place and doing things right. I would call Kawi again and let them know of your experience.

Yeah I called Kawi back and explained the situation and they are sending me some paper work for a complaint. I will send this to the BBB also. That was just ignorant. Kawi does call the dealer immediately after you talk to them also. like within two minutes LOL. I don't believe the customer is always right but the customer is always the customer.

Oh beleive me I was standing my ground yelling at him. I said that exact statement to them on the ownership thing to he replied he has no ownership only his father. I somehow think I could have got something but it never should have started that way because of a stupid complaint. His dad was standing right there while he was threatning me. I had him walking to me but he stopped half way. I am not small but he could have hurt me LOL I am only 21 and about 180 he is 40 something and about 275 and solid LOL soooo I figure I could take a hit just to get his but in trouble. I don't have any desire to sue anyone not really my personallity but jeez that was pathetic.

Go back down there with a couple witnesses "shopping" and while you're there ask that GM if corporate got back in touch with them after the last time you called them.

I admit it would be fun to make a big deal and take some more business away from them I think is a little too nutty to egg him on much more. I wasn't going to say anything to them when I walked but he immediately started in on me. I will just let the BBB have the letter. I should have just made a complaint with the cops but he supposedly knows all of them sooooo. what do you do?

I wouldn't be "afraid" of him knowing cops. Not many of them are gonna stick their neck out for him. Make the complaint against him, and follow up with different officers. Go right to the chief and explain your concerns of him "knowing people" and I'm sure he'll make certain it's dealt with just to cover his own a$$. Your on the right track with the BBB also. Definetely follow up with Kawi, find out what was done. Keep up with it, and it won't get swept under the rug. This guy sounds like an arogant a$$ that has behaved this way before and nobody has bothered to do anything. I wouldn't back down to this guy. If someone fughs you, you fugh them back ten times worse and you do it all in a legal manner.
