Anybody know if they make just a mid skid plate for a 2002 prairie 300?

You know, I have seen a complete underbody skid plate for the 300 recently on eBay. I don't recall ever seeing a mid skid plate. Are you looking for a plate to go over the existing plate?

 

I am not sure either about a mid skid plate I installed a full one on ours. I also got it on ebay for around $45.00.

I will probably buy a full skid plate but I was just curious if they had one that fit after the A-arms and before the engine. Just a gaping hole there.

I've looked on ebay a few times but could never find anything for the 300 but found plenty for the 360. By any chance are theses built on the same frame? Would a 360 skid plate fit the 300?

I've looked at the Richochet and Armordillo ones also.

I have reasearched it some and what I have found is that they are not interchangable. Although, to look at the bottom of both my machines they look the same and I have not actually measured it. It may just be that the drain plug hole for oil changes are in diffrent spots. I will look at my bikes today and try to give you a better answer.

I looked at the 2004 360 specs and it seems the length and wheelbase are the same but the width is different. Not sure how this affects the frame though. I figure theyre not interchangeable just because when looking at the the skid plate it says its for one or the other, not both.

Guess I could always make something or just buy a new one.

Finally - got a full skid plate off ebay. Cost $70 including shipping - figured I got a good deal. Wasnt bad to install either.
