Default 750 bf shredding belts

a friend has a 750 brute force . he had a clutch kit put on it. now he gets about 100 miles and the belt shredds. now on 13th belt. just wondering if anyone has had this trouble. I dont think they installed the clutch propperly. of course they say it's in right.

It's usually the way the person rides (the load being applied) determines the longevity of the CVT belt on quads. And the aftermarket clutch kit doesn't help either since the belt engagement is more aggressive.

What gear does he use while riding certain situations. Somthing has to be wrong though.

shredding is usually a sign of excessive heat....

I get better wear than that with my 900, set up for drag only... he's got a problem.
