dayco belt

Default dayco belt

Anyone ever used a dayco belt ? i ordered one for my 3010 mule and was wondering how it holds up..

Default the belt works

we have had to use them a few times on different machines out riding and they have held together , and dont show signs of wearing.hope that helps.

We use them on our sleds and they hold up great, the HPX are tougher then their regular HP but the HP is tough as well.

Sleds have much more power and rpm then any ATV so it should hold up well.

As TLC said, I use them on my sleds. Most OEM belts are made of a harder compound to last longer. However being harder they have a greater tendency to slip (causing HP lose). The Dayco belts are of a softer compound so you don't get the slippage. Slippage also causes alot more heat to be transfered to the clutches which isn't good for them. On my sleds I change belts every year at the start of the season and hence, have never had a problem with Dayco.
