I have seen the new that yamaha info on the possible new Wolv or whatever. It looks like a nice machine for shure. But I doubt it will be able to match the 650 twin on the Kawi. Even if it has the Raptor motor (a VERRRRRRY disapointing powerplant in my opinion). There is also the killer front diff setup on the Kawi. Dont get me wrong i love my Yammys but i think Kawi is gona put a whoopin an all of em. I also think to many people give independent rear suspension to much credit. I prefer the stability of the standard swingarm and solid axle. There is alot of Polaris riders that prefer the Magnum over the Sportsman for that same reason.

jscyoung, They had a LOT of Pro's, and only one CON, to say about driving the new V-twin! This is what their CON was!-("It aint got no trailer hitch"!) They say that now in the 4WD sport-utility class, nothing is even close to this. The undercarriage protection is superb. The transmission range selector works so smoothly and positively, it makes a Honda Rubicon's feel bad! The engine is supposed to be real sweet. The twin is super smooth and welcomes high revs. You can scream it in low range or torque around in high. It's happy either way! Switchable 2wd/4wd, locking differential, oil bathed multi-plate rear brake. Instrumentation tells you everything you need to know, except when to get a haircut. Dual range CVT w/reverse and engine braking. Front brakes are great. Oh, and they said that the 650 could be a touch thinner at the tank and pegs. If you can't afford a Prairie 650, steer clear of the Kawi shops, because just hearing the thing run is enough to make an ATV addict reach for his checkbook! So it sounds like they hit it big with this Quad. Definitely will be worth the wait for some lucky guys. And the price is even with the Rubicon, I think. And look at the comparison on what you get!

Hang on there Snowshark! Just a few more weeks and you should be seeing them. Just put it out of your mind for a few weeks. At least you have a quad to ride. I want you to let me know what you think of the 650 before you buy anything because I know that you will give an unbiased evaluation. I'm really hoping that it is worth the wait for you (obviously you are too). I can't afford one right now, so I'm counting on you to let me know how good it is. There are so many cool features that it just has to be good! Hang on pal!
