I recently bought a Bayou 220 for a whole $50 (not sure of the year, think it's a 95) all the plastics are there it's missing headlights, taillights, the start/stop switch on the left handle bar, & the ignition switch I'm sure there's something else.. I replaced the thumb throttle, the cdi box, starter solenoid, fuse all that is there. it looks like someone cut the wires to the key switch and wired them up so it would crank with the pull cord. then they broke the pull cord and gave up on it.I can't find where the wires they cut and spliced went originally, none of the others have the same color it's a nightmare. I'm trying to not have to unwrap the whole harness to trace where each wire goes.. I've got a new key switch and start/stop switch on the handle bar but none of the wire colors match the ones on the harness.. it's a total nightmare.if somebody could possibly point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated thank you

 

Someone posted a wiring diagram here a while ago link I have a feeling someone else posted a different one, but it could have been for 250s. Anyway, if your existing wiring corresponds to the diagram, it should help.
