Default Prairie 360 Gas Tank Fit

I have 2 Prairie 360's and removed the gas tanks to get to the carbs. I'm having trouble getting the gas tanks back on the bikes. I have to pry the tank forward and still can only get one bolt to line up on the back of the tanks. Has anyone else had this problem?

Don't know the model at all, but a lot of tanks are tricky to get back into place, especially if the front goes into/onto rubber mountings. dead easy to get a cable or wire between tank and front mounting too, so check that. The rubber gromets that the mounting screws fit through can usually move in relation to the tank so the mounting holes don't need to be perfectly positioned at the factory, but don't like moving once the weight of the tank is on them, lift slightly and see if the gromets will move nearer to lining up.

This has got me stumped. I'm having the same identical problem on both machines. It really acts like the tank swelled after I removed it. Of course, it's the same guy trying to remount them, so I'm assuming there's just something I'm overlooking. I'll double check all that and try again. Thanks.

In edit: I forgot to mention that, on both machines, the rear bolt on the right side of the tanks were broken off in the frame. That seems strange to me.
