Hey cool, how hard to install? I have experience with non-EBS Polaris clutches, think this would be much harder? Thanks!

Thanks for the advice guys I guess some air box mods are in order.
Oshawa, you will probably be able to get rid of the hesitsation by adding a quarter or half turn to the pilot jets.

Hey guys, The spring goes into the driven clutch aka the rear one. I pulled off the cover and disconnected the wires,I pulled the belt off, used a impack wrench to pull the rear bolt out and slid the clutch off, had to build a jig out of a peice of oak(I drilled a 1 5/8 hole in it) used to big clamps and slowly compressed the spring and pull the clip out. Installed the new spring and restall the clutch, The part number for the spring is KSS3

Coolinthewoods, Things have been going good down here in Arkansas (Just been real busy!) I have been reading just not taking time to respond.

Does the spring come with directions...Illustrations? Pictures help!

When time permits I am going to order a spring. How does affect the take off?

Hey Coolinthewoods,

With the clutch spring installed, does it increase your rpm's before pulling off? If so, is it still possible to maintain a slow speed (2-3 MPH). Certain tricky situations would make it undesirable to go any faster.

Encore454, No the spring came with no instructions, its pretty easy to install once you look at the clutch. It pulles harder up to 55mph.

Crashryder, No the rpms stay the same with this spring, If you were to order a aftermarket primary spring that would change your rpms at take off.

Cool EPI said they may also soon be offerning an alternative solution to the belt failures. I think they may be looking at a belt with more kevlar strands to limit stretch on these beast.
