A sales rep for Gates e-mailed me back today to tell me that they are "launching an atv line of belts". These will be available in about a month. The bad news is that the 650 didn't make the first run of production, so it won't be ready for a couple of months.

 

Could you give me the name and the contact number for the Gates belt rep. I figure the more demand they get for 650 belts the more inclined they will be to manufacture them. I'll wait until a aftermarket belt is brought onto the market before I buy one. I'm not going to patronize Kawi for a belt that should be half the price and should last longer than 1000 k's without any abuse.
