Monte SS,
Yes, the Lawnmower has a 3 cyl Mitsubishi diesel as well as the truck (Ford F350). The plane throws the count off as there are 12 plugs in 6 cyls. One other engine is a hot tube engine. A hot tube works like an externally heated glow plug.

I feel better now. Others are as bad as I am about equipment! LOL

Fishhead: Not sure why yours squaks on engagement unless it's maybe way to loose and your slipping on engagement. If your belt is riding to low in the secondary when you take off it's like starting out in 2nd gear on a manual tranny. Time to pull that cover I think. No you can't see the shims unless you take apart the secondary. Nice posts fellas.

Monte: Take a straight edge and place it on top the belt. Now push down on the belt halfway between the primary and secondary. At it's lowest point the belt should be around 1 inch plus/minus an 1/8 from the bottom edge of the straight edge. Not sure of the exact factory spec but if I remember it was right around 1 inch.
