I know that pro armor doesn't make a full body skid plate for the p650 yet and soon will but I can't wait. Allready tore a gaping whole in my bayou's oil tank last year on a rock and I don't want to do the same to my new mashine! what would be a good fitting skid plate for the p650? And where would you reccomend getting it?
thanks for any info.!!

Just got mine today from Highlifter, website. Go to online catalog and click skid plates. I haven't had a chance to install it yet but it sure looks like a nice piece. I got the kit with the front bash plate. I also got the diamond plate A-Arm guards. I'll let you know how it fits as soon as I can get it installed. Darn Job!

Trailburner,
I installed the bash plate last night when I had a few minutes. It is very easy to install and looks awesome. I have not had a chance to install the skid plate yet. I won't get to until next week as I have a business trip that will have me tied up through Sunday. I will report as soon as I get it installed though.

here is another option for you
from rocky mountain atv
prairie 650 skid plates
I have these on my prairie 400 and they are great, installation was simple and they are almost a 1/4" thick. The mounting bolts are round head with an allen wrench needed to but the bolts on.
rocky mountainthen enter the bike info at the top and click aluminum

trailburner - finally got the chance to install the Highlifter skid plate tonight. It bolts right on using the OEM bolt holes. Only one complaint - the heads on the bolts they supply are smaller than I like compared to the slotted holes on the skid plate. I'll have to washer them or get a screw with a larger head. I need to Loc-Tite em anyway so I'll fix that then.
I also started to install the a-arm guards and in my opion they suck. The nuts protrude from the bottom of the guard and they really need to be trimmed to fit right. I can just see that thing catching a rock and at best bending an a-arm but probably launching me over the handlebars. I'm thinking that the flexible plastic guards are probably better since there is nothing protruding from the bottom and they won't get bent and gouge a big hole in the boot. Just my thoughts.
The skid plate and the bash plate are very nice though and would recommend it to anybody.
