I know this is a bigger size than what you want, but this person sells them cheap. I am buying 4 28" mud lites mounted on 4 c-series rims for 590 shipping and lugnuts included.

Ricon We even stud the tires somtimes ice and snow and rocks can be tough go in the mountains of Montana If a cliff is on one side you pray for all the traction you can get.(but thats how you get the neet round marks on your seat).About the only flat land we ride on are lakes (ice fishing) and you eather chain up or have good tires most of us are towing or hauling our ice fishing gear and this can weaigh a bit (you know ice house,wet bar,fishfinder,augger,emergency brandy,so on)The east side of the state has hills thats clear over the Rockies.

In picture #4 is the stock tire mounted on a rim?

 

The stockers are unmounted so they look fatter than they are. I realize It would be a better comparison if they were mounted.

 

ChaosInMt, my cousin runs studs (short screws) in his tires, it stears a lot better now.

We are near the end of a winter storm right now, about a foot of snow or so. Some drifts are over the front rack! I got stuck in one going downhill! sometimes it's too much for the old yammie!!

Mine came in last week also. We spent the weekend in the mud (5A for those that know the place). The MudLites were just what I was looking for: More ground clearance, good high speed trail handling & decent in the mud. I spent almost the entire day in 2wd with no problems. 4wd was only needed when climbing steep sugar sand hills.

I have the black spring installed but haven't changed and/or removed the stock shim yet so there was definitely some slipping off the line. It wasn't real bad (no squeelling) but I could tell there wasn't a tight hookup. The .6mm shim just arrived, so I'll either put that in (if the stocker is larger) or take out the existing shim if it is the .6mm.
