Will the K & N Jet Kit for the Praire 650 work in the V-Force 700

 

I just talk to K&N yesterday and they are getting out of the jet kit business. They are selling off what ever they have left and that will be it. As far as will they fit what jet size is in them now? And is it the same carb that is on the prairie?

 

I installed a Dial-a-jet kit from a P650 onto my V force today.

There is at least one difference on the carbs ..... but I didn't
open the carbs so I do not know if the jets are the same.

Dial-a-jet is a fuel induction system.

Short version ..... it involves adding two external jets to increase
the fuel being inducted into the engine instead changing the
size of the carb jets.

They have a screw(dial) that allows the amount of fuel to be
being injected to be changed... hence the name "dial-a-jet"

Did not have the Dial-a-jet on my 650 .... I put oversize jets in it.

This kit I ordered for a 650 .... then installed it on my 700.

As for weight ... its only a few onces.
manufacture says it adds about the equivalet of two jet sizes.
