hey what do you know, i got it all put back together and its works great!! it does BARELY squeel when idling in gear but thats no problem. i did only have one shim in mine. i didnt even measure the belt deflection before i tore into her. all i knew is that i was going to have to remove at least one shim because it was squeeling on takeoff even with a brand new belt on her. so now i have NO shims in mine. oh well, LET HER EAT!!! thanks for all the great info and for bearing w/ my dumb a$$!! ive got that belt shim thingy downloaded, it just wont let me save it into my documents. thanks again, couldnt have done it without your comments and your page and nyrocs page.

 

just right click on the link and select " save target as " then select which folder you want to save the word document into.

It's just a word document, so it shouldn't give you any problems.

Glad to hear you got it all put back together.

It's just a word document created in Microsoft Office XP (Word).

So you shouldn't have any problems opening it.

Thanks NYROC and Nemmeh, My belt used to squeal like a PIG! I printed out Nemmeh's word doc. and went step by step. It went like clock work, I removed all shims, Now I have NO belt squeal at all! Even at idle. Thanks for the Knowledge base Nyroc. Thanks a lot guys!
