P650 manufacturing problem or human error?

Take an ATV riding class, I was having the same problem as you, until I took the class, they went through deep breathing techniques and a little secret, dont tell anyone, pour some starch mixed with rubbing alcohol on your hand and place it in a dryer for one and a half ours, this should cause some shrinkage, is this post for real, or is this a ribber, if your post is for real, then alltoys is very much TRUE,

The throttle position is movable. Maybe your's is too far under the grip. If so, loosen the screws holding the throttle assembly in place and rotate the throttle towards you. This will put it further away from your index finger.
Maybe the bars are tilted too far back; that would give you the same effect as the throttle twisted too far under the grip.

Nova is right you can adjust the throttle position although if this dosen't work try very slowly to bend the throttle down with a short piece of pipe on the end of the lever. Did you really need that index finger......LOL. Try one of the above remedies I am sure you can find a fix almost sounds like it was bent earlier from who nows what.

I know exactly what your saying rutwad, this happened to me once when I was wearing a heavy glove, just about put the 650 over backwards. I gota agree I'ts where your holding your hand on the grip.

It is not the normal way I grip the handlebars, but I guess sometimes I change without notice. Scared something similiar may happen again, so I do plan to bend the throttle lever down to increase the gap between it and the grip.
Next time I may not be so lucky.
Thanks for the info
