does anybody know the average top speed of a 90cc? i am trying to find out for my little brother. thanks for any info yall might have.

 

Most minis will do about 30 mph with all of the restrictors removed.

 

Our stock TRX90 with an eighty pound rider tops out at 34MPH. That's clocked with a regular speedo so it could be a couple of MPH slower, give or take. Our stock LT80 is just slightly faster on take off with a little less top end.

Yeah, pretty fast for the crappy cable brakes, and adult reach levers and worthless suspension the manufactures's put on a lot of the mini's. Not all have bad brakes, some have rear disc's.

 

thats cool then if a modified 90 can do 50 then why can a z250 and 250 ex only do 54

 

The answer to that would be: rpm's and gearing. The stock LT runs about 6500rpm's. My moded LT's run 9800rpm's
I'm guessing that the machines you listed run about 8-9000rpm's The bigger motor allows for the gearing difference for the extra speed.
