Default 44/1 is how many ounces?

I just put a cylinder kit on from WRH racing and he said 44/1. How many ounces is that? I believe it is around 15. Anybody know for sure?

Huh? 44/1 is a huge difference from 14/1. All you have to do is divide the amount of ounces in a gallon by the desired ratio. Example: 32/1 = 128/32 = 4 ounces.

I found a conversion table on the internet. I never said 14/1 Just 44/1. Yes that is a big difference. Here is the site i used. http://www.csgnetwork.com/marineoilfuelcalc.html

Why not drop by your friendly neighborhood motorcycle shop and purchase a fuel mixture funnel that will measure out the correct mixture. Seems to me you spent a lot of money on your motor... it might be worth another 5 to 10 bucks to be sure...

Also, the numbers for a marine engine that is water cooled may be different for a dirt bike or quad motor... I asume you checked your owner's manual first....

I have a thing called a "ratio rite" . It only hold 18 ozs but has markings for ozs, pints and cc's on one side. Other side is 1.0,1.5,2.0 and 2.5 gallons and a line to fill the cup to for 16-1 thru 50-1. I have been using this one for over 20 yrs, real handy.

the marine motor should have nothing to do with this, also the owners manual will not help as the quad originally had oil injection on it, do as billy said and mix 44 to 1 we have done a lot of testing and the 44 to 1 works best, actually we run our race quads at 50 to 1. i have run bubbas 109 at 50 to 1 for over a year now with no problems at all. we also use maxima synthetic oil.
