Default info needed on Brand name

Hey everyone I got a relative that is about to buy a 49cc atv for his 5yr old. I understand that this is rather young but the guy is heart set on getting this. I have told him to wait and get one of the top 4 brands but he is looking at one from a manufactur called Quinigy. I have never heard of this brand and need some advice. Has anyone heard of this brand and can you let us know what they are like? The seller is telling relative that the company has something to do with Yamaha in some fashion or another. I have looked around the net and nothing

thanks in advance

What you are looking at is a very cheap knock-off of either a Honda or Yamaha built in China or Korea...

these quads can really be a double edged sword...they are cheaper than the alternative, and with a kid growing up so damn fast it seems to make sense to save some money

however these quads are junk, if you were to break anything replacement parts may be hard to come by...

the sales guy is actually a broker for a larger company...himself or someone in his import business has given that bike the name it has

CARPE DIEM MY FRIEND

best of luck

So let me get this straight racinjason, you don't even know which quad he's referring too and your calling it junk? Please tell me I'm missing something.

Not all off-brands are created equal. dc510, if you can get a pic or link a site it might help identify the machine.

I believe the name of the company is actually spelled QINGQI I say kinky. But I dont have any experience with them personally. I'm doing my homework getting ready to make my first Quad purchase.

qingqi.com

Does stepless transmission mean single speed? If so, I wouldn't buy it.
