i have a national motors gallop 150 and i it has problems running 1/2 to full throttle. ive cleaned the carb, adjusted the floats, checked the plug, and checked the air filter. the next thing i want to do is adjust the valves cause its been awhile since thats been done, but dont know the valves specs. any1 have an idea what they are? what other things could be causing this problem? this has been a big PITA so all help is appreciated. Thanx!

 

If it is similar to a yamoto 150 you could use .002 cold. That is what I set my honda thumpers to and also the yamoto. If you are still using the stock chinese plug it could also be the problem.

i just had shoulder surgery bout 3 weeks ago so i cant really work on anything right now, and my dad has been busy at work so we havent been able to work on it that much. but hopefully within a week or so i think i should be mobile enough to try and work on it. thanx for the specs tho, this thing has been runnig crappy the past year and i gave up workin on it in the winter. i just want to get it running good so it doesnt sit around so much!

 

i put it all back together tonight and it wont run. i adjusted the valves to .002mm int. and exh. any1 have an idea what the valve specs are for a lt185,lt160, or somethin within the 150cc range?
