#1 is all that plastic around the head of the engine needed? it seems like to me that its restricting air flow=more heat=less power. i might be wrong but im just asking.
#2 i dont have the money yet to give to jack, but dont worry jack as soon as i do im gonna hit you up but im thinking about getting another head and shaving .030 and taking two of the rollers out (like jack said), how much of a difference would this make?
#3 why in the h$ll does suzuki still use the body work on the lt80 that looks like the mid 80's quadracer 250? they make the z50 look like a little ltz400, which i think looks better the what they put on the lt80.

My motor is at Jacks right now
I actually bought a motor that he built, but had to send it to him to go through and make sure it was still all his stuff in there......
I can give an answer to #2..............
On our stock LT80:
I took 2 rollers out of the front, and cut the rear shoes down to about 180 grams.
Doesn't affect top speed at all, but gives noticable difference on the hole shot and quicker response when ya hit the throttle.
Good luck, you'll get lots of good info on here
