Well, my 7 year old split his frame in half this morning. We were riding down a sandy trail, and he just stopped moving. I then noticed the rear wheels were moved back from the frame around a foot. The only thing holding the rear wheels was the shock. The fuel line came off, probably from the brake line tugging at it. There was fuel leaking all over the hot engine, so I had the kids move far away while I plugged the leak with a rock. So much for petcocks.

Luckily we weren't too far away, and I had my Chinese tow strap on the Honda. I tied the rear onto my six-pack rack, and towed it about 1/2 mile. I'll take pictures tonight.

 

our frame broke on the sunl 90 3 weeks ago, it broke at the gusset for the swing arm, first it broke (not cracked) on the left hand side and i welded back together and brace it with extra tubing , then two days later the right side broke same place. boy was i glad i purchased it from raceway, my wife called raceway, no questions asked, all they said was put it on a pallet and they have it pick up and when they receive it they're ship out a new one, wow what service. when they called me back to say they received it was going to ship out the new atv the next day i asked if i could upgrade to the new mini 100, they said not a problem, in short what great out fit to deal with, i took delivery of the 110 thrusday, took me about 45-60 minutes to finish assembling and starting . i'll post in a couple of days what i think about it. on the 90 we purchased it early dec 05 for our 6 year old grandkid, it only had appox 25-30 hours on it, i was thinking this was a isolated case and was going to mention it.

 

Yes, same exact spot. I bought it from a Marine dealer in Arizona, so I guess I'll have to see what they do. Probably nothing. How long of a warranty do these have?

I think you will like the delux 100 more than the 90 or 95. It is very powerful and built better than the 90/95. The only issues that I have had was the exhaust bolts came loose and broke. Also the front shocks will come apart if you dont check the nut on the shaft to make sure it is tight. It smokes my neighbors extreme 90 2 stroke.

 

raceway offers a 120 day warrenty on the quad. it depends on the dealer, some i've seen offer none, others 30 days , hope the dealer you purchase yours from is as good as raceways. if not ,let me know if i can help you out. our grandson was 7 year old also, you think that might had something to do with it?

 

I called the dealer, he is working with me. But, he is a 3 hour drive in the wrong direction. I will ask SunL if I can exchange it in LA while I'm there in 2 weeks. Or maybe they will let me drop it off at another dealer that just opened in Chandler here.

 

Sunl carries a 6 month warranty on parts but you will have to put it together.
Ramtec if you have any problems call John @ Raceway. If these are cracking in the same places they may need to know this.

 

Good posting...I hope it warns others and maybe the company will re-engineer the frame. That should never happen.

 

I'm going to Big Boys and Their Toys Expo on Sunday. There should be SunL dealer there selling these. I'll let Raceway and SunL corporate know on Monday.
