.

For general "cleaning and visual inspections" only, you may want to remove its CVT side cover, spray the clutch pullies (and area) with brake fluid cleaner and do a visual of its moving parts. Some do cleaning after every "super muddy" race and others only do inspections once a year (for normal trail riding). Some use water for cleaning but I like using liquid "spray on" brake fluid cleaner the best.

While "in the pits", you may want to ask other LT80 racers what specific cleaning (and visual inspections) they do on their LT80 brand. Each brand is different and thus, may need more visual attention in specific areas. For example, I always have to focus on the front steering wear and "brake pad" cleaning on our '03 Pred-90. To me, the Pred-90 need better design in this area. Your LT80 will need different "cleaning and wear focus areas". Each brand does have its weak areas....

Hope this helps....

That's because you are out of options (or close) of things to do yourself.
The beginner mods are:: shave the head .030 and remove 2 of the front rollers. Maybe even lowering the weight of the rear clutch shoes from 210 to 180 grams each.
After that get help from someone that kives LT80's. .
Study up before you waste a ton of cash on pipes and carbs.
