Default Roketa 250 and Tiger 250

My first post!

I'm looking at either a Tiger 250 or a Roketa 250 Sport ATV. Ebay has a local seller "atvdiscounter.com" that I can pick up myself. Prices on them are in the 800-dollar range. I figure a weekend of blue Loc-tite and quality oil replacement will go a long way...

My questions are:

1.) has anyone done any business with this company?

2.) has anyone had either of these bikes, or has had personal experience with them?

I'm familiar with ATV's and dirtbikes, so am no stranger to a wrench. I also realize that parts on even the well-known brands are made in Korea, China, Taiwan, etc., so the fact the ATV itself is made there doesn't bother me. Sure, I could get a Grizzly or Raptor and never realize it full potential but then, who really does? I just want something I can scoot around on.

I'd appreciate honest opinions based on personal experience, and not the opinions of those who have not been around one. There are horror stories for every brand so I'd rather not hear from those who are just parrotting what they hear from others.

Thanks in advance for all that reply!

i wouldn't be so concerned with which atv to buy, as i would about buying from atv discounter's, they're one of the worst dealers on e-bay, go to sunljunk.com and read about them and other bad dealers. also i like the hi bird, seems like what i read their's very few problems with these atv's and cost around the same
