Raider, here is what I copied and pasted from the owners manual

WARNING

Never ride the ATV in cold weather, always make sure all control cables work smoothly before you begin ridding. Please read the engine brake-in section before you operate the engine at first time.........

That's why I was wondering if a lighter weight oil may be better for the cold winters here in Ohio. Don't plan on riding much below 20, or maybe play in the snow then [IMG][/IMG]

Currently have Rotella T 15W-40 in it. Local Autozone has 10W-40 and 15W-50 wet clutch motorcycle oil.

Also would like to note that these Marshins look exactly like Jetmoto 250 utility. If I need some parts I'll try there first. Is it possible that they are identical?

I believe that the frames and body panels are similar. There are a few different panels here and there on the China quads. The most noticeable being the grill and some have louvers in the plastic just above the engine on the sides. I do believe that the jetmoto motor is based on a Yamaha engine, if not a Yamaha engine. The engine in the Marshin is a Lifan 163FML. I have read it is a great motor, very durable.

This body style is shared with a lot of Chinese ATV brands Sunl, Roketa, Shinima, Marshin, Jetmoto. The engines may be different and some are chain driven.

LOL, Are they serious? That would mean I would have to park it for 6 months of the year!

I have been using my ATV more than my Snow machine for ice fishing trips lately.(see Pics)

i bought a 3rd four wheeler about 6 months ago. i got it because my wife wanted to ride and is scared of my other 2. its a 250cc vbike i dont know much more than that about it. i think its almost the same as komoto, hi bird and im sure several others. that chinese atv i have that everyone has so much bad to say about it hasnt really hiven me any trouble at all. ive put air in the shocks. and havent had to do anything to it since then. there are a few things that i dont like about it like the motor is mounted too high but thats me being picky. it does sometimes mot want to go into 1st fully, due to lazyness i havent adjusted that yet. i havent done anything to it. but i know for a face i can buy anyparts i need at my local yahmaha dealer for the engine. it will hang with my other 2 on trails. it will climb with the best, now on a straight shot its not real fast id say 40-45 top's. i would refer anyone to getting one. i dont know about long term use. but if you get 2-3 good yeard throw it out and buy another.

Well, heading out tomorrow with a group of guys I work with. I will be running with a 750 4x4, 450 sport quad, 430 4x4, and a 350 4x4. We should be running in a mix of terrain and ground conditions, so should be fun!

Hey whatever float's your boat. I woulden't knock anyone for what they buy. It's your hard earned money. Just be careful of the led paint and cancer coating on it.

No actually, I would not mind if it was lead paint. Lead paint is some of the best paint you can get. Just don't eat it!

We still have the sun-l, It's like everyone is saying if you have the time to work on them, Making sure everything stays tight and other adjustment's, there worth the money you payed for it with the amount of enjoyment you get out of it. I have had quite a few problems with Polaris Preditor 90 and 50 also.
