Is this the only way to get a response??? Does anyone know anything about a 2005-06 TRX 90? Does anybody own one or know somebody with one? I need to know quick if this is a good quad or a junker!

 

I have an 06 trx90. What do you want to know about them? The 05 and the 06 are completlly differant from each other. The body (plastic) is differant and the 06 has electric start. Either one of these quads is an excellant choice, very reliable. Both quads are however cold blooded, they must warm up about 20 minutes before they run good. Once they are warm have fun.

 

About as bullet proof kids quad as you can get. Great for learning as it's a true auto-clutch 4-speed and the brakes are set up jus tlike a big quad. WE have a full skidplate on ours and it goes just about anywhere our big 4x4's can go, with the exception of getting high centered easier. They will run forever and take all kinds of abuse. If youhave a choice between an '05 and an '06, go for the newer style. the pull start on the '05 and earlier models can be a real pain.

Thats what I was looking for. Any insight about them. My buddy wants a Outlaw like mine but has come across one of these Hondas for a good price. Half of a new outlaw! We were wondering if it was worth saving the money.

A new Outlaw is 2900 out the door for an 07, 3000 for an 08.
They have 2 05 Honda's for 1500 each.

Is the kick start really an issue?

 

It's not a kick start, it's a pull start. Not too much of a problem if things are running right and it hits in the first few pulls. Different story if you have any starting problems - pulling on it can get real old real fast. Also a factor in that some kids can't pull it (although Hnoda claimed that this was a safety measure to endure that the kids were big enough to ride).

Still, $1,500 is a good price (is that a left over new '05?) Be hard to tuen that one down. I paid $1,400 for ours - used about 3 years old when we got it.
