how bout a frame with duel a-arm and a swingarm. sounds like lt80 has a winter project. Im aready looking at a frame that I can put (with some work) the lt80 motor into maybe a blaster frame

Yeah go for it Jack.
Sounds like it could be a real nice machine if you do your thing on the motor,
and from reading what onebigzj said in another thread that's some crazy thing
you do.

With some luck I'll have my own crazy LT up and running as soon as I get it all painted and back together, just hope I can hold on to the thing after jacks finished with it, lol.

lt160 shocks work great on front. I have the jl front end extenders and my tires do not have negative camber. I used these shocks on a stock LT80 as well and they look stock. They have much more travel and are very forgiving on the trails. I have another lt80 with an LT160 front end, Jack's motor, swing arm extension, and diamond J ciustom wheel adapters so I can use Honda 300ex rims. I notched the frame under the footpegs and added about 3 inches to the fram under the seat. I used an LT160 front shock with a welded on extension for the rear shock. It looks like a bigger quad and my wife rides it. She loves it and she doesn't get beat up on the trails. I have had this setup for about 3 years and never had a problem. Of course she doesn't beat on it and jump it. It runs great and is really a fun quad. People ask what it is parked next to our stock LT80 because it looks so much bigger.

I had bought a Diamond J kit but never installed it. I sold the kit once pictures of them were posted on the websiteI thought the front width looked absolutely ridiculous as well.
