Default 06 lt80 clutch hooks up good but jumps/pops

low rpm everything is fine. it hooks up great. what happens is when you go full throttle and speeds goes up the bike lunges or pops like the belt is slipping or something. i just replaced the belt because the old was worn. i pulled the rear clutch and the shoes look work and uneven from one side the the other. i wanted to get the forums thoughts before i way down 100 for a new clutch. any help would be great.

thanks

Is the sprocket wore and slipping on the chain?
mYbe the variator is spinning on the crankshaft (from the belt install). What did the rollers look like?
If there is any pad left on the rear clutch, they are fine

here is a pic of my clutch pad:
bad_side.jpg picture by dcashley84 - Photobucket

i havent taked apart the front clutch yet. its weird. the noise isnt a metal noise. no grinding or skipping noise like a lose chain (i have a chain tensioner). its strange. it will lunge starting about 5mph ish then do it bad around 1/2-3/4 speed all the way to full speed. if you nurse it it will go full speed. it hooks up great on take off. im glad its not the clutch because thats $100

thanks for the help

so i took apart the front clutch. looks like 3 of the 6 rollers inside had small flat spots. would this cause the issue?

Flat spots are not good but it sounds like that isn't it.
How about that plate that covers the rollers..Is the keyway OK? Look like it's been mashed by the key and spun?

I get my rear clutchs off of ebay.
Bastids at Zuki...That $100 part used to cost 68 bucks.

it all looked clean. only seems to slip now in high "gear"/speed. i have a bell sound now coming from the front of the clutch area.. i cleaned the front clutch and it all looked good. no wear marks where rollers go. the plate that goes over the rollers looks good and the 3 plastic pieces were there.

Ok.
Is the motor surging in rpm's making it seem to slip?
I'm starting to wonder if this is a air leak.

It doesn't surge rpms. You do feel a pop, slip, or skip in the drive train. Low rpms it pulls hard. Only does it when in mid to full speed. Took front clutch off and replaced all rollers. Noticed that the notch off the shaft was only half way out and some ofte groove it sat if was empty. One side of the key looked slightly more shiny like it was rounded or something. It's not a sputtering issue for sure. Something in the drive line. Can the key be easly adjusted to stick out more? Can it be welded to make it take up the key space?

OK..
Is the rear clutch stuff in the correct order? Maybe the fiber discs are very wore?
Weld=NO! LOL
Once it's together correct, when you tighten the nut, all is tight and cannot move off the key.
