LT50 clutch issuehe key had gournd
I picked my boy up a 84 LT50. The clutch was grabbing a bit, so I opened it up and saw only one thick (3mm) thrust washer behind the clutch, and none inbetween the shoe and drum. I orderd the thin one (1.5mm). I had to clean up the spacer that goes in the drum a bit as the key had chewed it up. So now when I put the 1.5mm thrust washer behind the clutch as shown in the micro fische, the gear on the clutch drum rubs against the bearing reaatiner. I put it back with the thick washer back there and it is grabbing a bit. Any idea what would cause it? Next time I open it up I am going to have to look at the retainer I suppose? The thick spacer should go between the clutch drum and shoe and the thin one behind right? Should the gear ride above the retainer, or clear it?
Thanks
