Thanks guys I was just doing all I could to it but I didnt want to hurt the performance of it by lightening the rear shoes,so it shouldnt hurt nothing? Im going to have the national port done sometime this winter.

Thanks guys, went to wal-mart got me a digital scale and got the rear shoes down to 180g. It didnt hurt top speed any but helped it get up in its power range quicker,so I just left 2 rollers out. Whats next???

Could I remove the head gasket without adding another base gasket? Or would it put the head to close to the piston? What's the benefit of two base gaskets and no head gasket? Seems like compression wouldnt be changed unless it changes port timing?
