When cleaning the drive chain do you guys lubricate it with a heavier oil, such as 80 weight gear oil. The manual suggest 20 weight. I was wondering if a heavier weight would last longer.

Gear lube flings off, and attracts and holds dirt, the best thing is to clean it real good, and use a spray on chain wax, it penetrates and lubes good, but dries to a waxy coating on the outside that won't fling or hold dirt.

95 wolve, correct! I tried the grease and had the back end off the ground. Started her up, took a look while holding the throttle down and was pelted with grease globs, LMAO! I'm gonna try and find some of that wax, thanks.......
