cannondales vs 450s

I don't include sand because weight of the quad and rider is such a factor. Do a roll-on on pavement, see who pulls who. Should be closer. The 'Dale is heavier and doesn't perform as well in the sand. Sandgod can tell you the same.

What I have experienced is the YFZ gets out to a quicker standing start in the sand. They have a two stroke like hit. We all know what two strokes do in the sand. On harder surfaces it is waaay closer. When we race aound in the giant bowls the YFZ has no advantage as we are not starting from a standing stop.. The Dales power is more broad like a Quadzilla, on a lower scale of course. Banshees mop up on Zillas in the dunes due to the way the power is delivered.. On dirt the Zilla's power is way more potent compared to a Banshee..

My friend Jordy has one. Has the ATK 450 motor in it.. The suspension is softer then the Speeds. We saw five other Cannondales at Little Sahara, Utah today.. About 15,000 people today and tons more were filing in as we were leaving.

Yes that was him. He is a regular w/ us now.. Mine runs a little better then his.. He will be at the ATK ride. My bro will be on an Alaskan Cruise, but I'm sure if anybody thinks their Dale can take his YFZ up the Mtn he will gladly let me prove them wrong aboard his YFZ..

FYI - I have been riding Glamis a lot lately and been running with YFZs and TRXs. I can honestly say, a stock Glamis 440 will pull both a YFZ and TRX, stock for stock, my stock Glamis will pull the stock YFZ by 1-2 bike lengths and pulls TRX by 3-4 bike lengths, on Competition Hill. On the flats, the YFZs get close and TRX450s still behind YFZs. I have beaten 7 out of 10 YFZs with mods, jetted, and exhausts and this Glamis 440 is still running stock mapping and stock breadbox. I do have my dale at around 350lbs with some alum and titanium hardware, but now it's comparing apples to apples. Of course, I'm very meticulous about the maintenance on my dales so they are almost at peak performing conditions. I believe healthy and good running dales definately can keep up with the new 450s.
Now, i know that stock YFZ owners think they can't be touched, I see them riding around Glamis like they have the best (and they do have the best mass produced quad) but they do get disappointed when a dale starts pulling away in 4th gear up comp hill.
Anyway, I think part of it is who is the better driver, shifts at better times, etc. All these machines are in the same range. I've been running ATVs for 15 years so I'm sure I maybe running mine optimally. Besides, I high speed dune and rarely drag dales, but these cdales are definately hi performance machines without a doubt.
