I took my FX 400 to my dealer for updates and to have the clutch fixed a few weeks ago. I asked them to let me know how much it was going to cost me before they started work on it. I didnt ask if it would be covered under warranty or anything. I assumed that it wouldnt be because of the warranty guidlines paper I was given when I bought it. Any way I didnt hear anything for about a week and I called them. I was told that I wouldnt be out any money that It was going to be covered. What other company would warranty this work on a 3 month old quad? Also the dealership Bootheel Buggies is awesome. They had my quad fixed, updated, and serviced in no time I just got the chance to make the 2 1/2 hr drive today to pick it up. I went ahead and let them service it for me for a small charge. But the rest was FREE!
WHO BETTER THAN CANNONDALE?
(Got that from WWF's Canyon. You know you watch it).

That's great. I hope my dealership gets the new ball joints in soon. I also need to get my machine serviced and the shocks adjusted.

The updated complete tie rod assembly (rods and tie rod ends) are kind of trick. Ive never seen any tie rod ends like these before. The rods themselves are bigger and look alot stronger. The ends, well I dont realy know how to explain them. Usualy tie rod ends are an inclosed socket with a ball as far as I know. These remind me of a heim-joint. They also have zerk fittings. I didnt think to ask if the clutch was updated with a new one or if the new clutch still uses the same plates ect. just new. Any way Awsome88250R Cannondale sent me a letter telling me to take mine to my dealer for updates and that the parts will be sent to them. They were there when I took mine in.

I got that same letter from Cannondale, and when I called my dealer they said they were still waiting on the parts. I guess that was about three weeks ago now. They said they would call when the parts arrived, but I haven't heard anything from them yet. Since college started I haven't had much time to ride anyway. It is not really that big of a deal but I'd still like to get it taken care of. That terrorist attack really changed my outlook on what matters in life, and right now quads are on the back burner anyway. I feel selfish worrying about selling quads, college, and what I'm going to be doing in life when people are working so hard trying to save lives in New York. Helping my fellow man is what matters the most, and I just haven't been able to get excited about material things lately. My heart is not in it right now, it is with our country.
