Great Idea for Cannondale
#11
If they dropped the compression to about 10.3-10.5:1, and had a carb on the Cannibal, steel wheels, cable clutch, rubber brake line, and some little things like that, they could drop that price down and still have a good quad. That would appeal more to the casual rider or the MX'er that can't afford a lot all at one time. The steel wheels may be a little more heavy, but trading the carb for all the electronics and hi-tech stuff involved with EFI could keep the weight down pretty good. Another thing that I think would be an easy addition that would hel A LOT, is a simple radiator gaurd and braces at the rear fenders to support the fenders. The heal gaurds take a lot of abuse and I don't really think it's the best thing to use to support the rear fenders. Going with cheaper tires on the Cannibal was a good move too.
What do you all think?
