I don't know about your quad races between Monster truck races but the one I went to about six months ago was the goofiest thing. They are probably setup to get maximum response out of the crowd but I watched as this guy on a Moto went from last place to 1st place six times in the main event and went from last to first place on the last lap to take the win. If anything it was fun to watch.

Yeah, this "intermission" between the monster trucks always proves to be more entertaining than the trucks! The track is as small as it can possibly be on coke syrup in a circle. Gate pick was crucial. If you ended up in front you would win! For example, the guy who won the main event friday night was on a 400ex, with no lowering and cross contry tires! He ran a little front sprocket and TOTALLY pulled the holeshot. The guy who got second in the mains all three shows (friday and twice saturday) was on a 250r. He had no flat track experience or any proper equipment. Third on Friday night and FIRST the other two shows was a guy named J.B., (we'll call him that) who got some better gate picks and really ripped! J.B. also said he wanted a huge double and a nasty timing section to separate the men from the boys. You can't really do that with coke syrup and a track that fits inside a Hockey rink! Other machines included a DS 650 w/RON WOOD galore, a 65 hp banshee, two trick scramblers-one with nitrous, a real nice 400ex, a totally trick 250x, a couple of R's, the Cannondales-Cannibal and Moto 440, a Raptor, and some trick XR 50's screwed around. All in all the event was fun and provided entertainment for everyone! Not a race, though...
