What is really going on in Michigan

Well, you got to admit, at least the "cyclist community" has kept the thread interesting.
Can't imagine anyone coming to your place and enjoying themselves.

BB QUOTE*
You ask somebody to explain the latest proposed (and obviously skewed) funding formula.....
You ask what went on at the last board meeting in regards to what the public actually advised our DNR do with over 750 miles of trail they are now charged with laying down....
You ask a myriad of other questions simply seeking to gather information between one-way meetings once every 3 months....
and what do we receive?

One SIMPLE ANSWER for BB
Your record for unfounded accusations is well founded by the ORV leaders of this State and quite frankly, you are a WASTE OF TIME!

Founding very well(?)
Well....I found it! (?)
You've got to admit that these cyclists definitely left us with "the A team" to artfully express their position before ducking out of here.....

How do you have over 3,000 miles of trails...more than anyone else in this country....yet still drive orv enthusiasts away or with even more trajic results; off the very system designed to accomplish just the opposite?
Do you somehowthink WI, KY, TN, WV and Canada were all just places that I wanted to visit....instead of exploring my own darn state on LEGAL trails that weren't whooped out/had zero clearance or were shut down to everybody but cyclists?

Because of the cycle community and their desire to kill legisaltion that actually fixes/maintains/pays for our system properly.....we don't enjoy our trails either!

Tell the veiwers of this forum the EXACT formula that was proposed in the last KILLED legislation, that was going to BUILD-FIX-and PAY for these trails you accuse the cyclists of getting shut down?
YOU CANT!

The cyclist can access ALL the 3000 miles of trails we have here in Michigan, ATVers can only access about 60% of these miles, yet there are approx 3-4 times more ATVers in this State than there are cyclists. I dont argue that a multi-use trail system is the best system for the majority of ORV users, I just BLAST BBs method of operation.
