If you haven't got excited about the fact (for years) that Michigan's DNR blatantly screens any and all public access info to our "we reply only if we damn well want to" orv advisory board members...you might be interested in how the printed link has gotten yet even smaller as of late! (while still <u>MISSING</u> from the category of "things the average citizen should know") This in stark contrast to the 'snowmobile' advisory board and its fine members who <U>proudly</U> display their information without thinking once of cowardly hiding behind the DNR's skirt.
Please tell me where the DNR or these cycle leaders loudly appraised of this siuation by others for literally years...actively seek the opinion of anybody with this web page:
http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7...070---,00.html (Where's Waldo(?) orv advisory board info)
http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7...824---,00.html ("stand up like a man and be proud of it" snowmobile advisory board members and their contact info).
Again, when nobody gives a damn about the "we're not the land rapers,,,they are!" CCC/AMA cycle groups currying favor with these liberal-minded "atv/ruv/full size 4X4's are the world's #1 problem" DNR personnel....these two groups will make <u>every</u> <u>effort</u><u> </u>to keep the general public just as disinterested as they possibly can.("hey, if people like BB complain about us not holding these one-way-only meetings for 6 months at a time or publishing the minutes 8 weeks after that...by gosh we'll just bury the fact that any board even exists in the web page and damn well force these people go through "us" for board contact info....so that we may be fully aware of any problems the general public comes up with....first!).
What a sad 'joke' this has all become; made even sadder by those refusing to demand even the most basic of considerations which allow the next generation ofriders to start becoming informed through the internet (their only source).

At last count it was 10 different orv organizations (or more) in the last 7 years.
Looks like the moral to your story is ....keep your mouth shut unless you have the <u>facts</u> in hand.

We got ecorman1 posting this:
And then BB posts this:
So is this correct? Is that correct about 1800 miles that ATV's can use?

I once had a friend of mine by the name of Ted who was married 6 times in about a 7 year span. Each marriage ending with him telling me of how the ruined marriages were always his wifes fault. After the 6th marriage, I told Ted that if I were married 6 times in a 7 year span, that I think I would have to take a look in the mirror and see 'IF' the problem might possible be ME?
Moral of the story? If you dig deep enough, you'll may see character defects that YOU own!

But I must conclude, with all the whinning and complaining you do, combined with your unwillingness to go out and do something on your own about it, you'll make someone a fine wife someday.

One simply comes out and exhibits the pure arrogance that I have been referring to for months now; a way of thinking that has frankly been rampant in their community for decades....
....the other is mystified as to how he could make such a stupid statement in an atv forum....
...while yet another is forced to bust in here to somehow cover the whole revealing mess with his favorite deodorizer..."sarcasm".(if you notice in his latest responses to me; every barb thrown was "sarcastic" if the receiver of same simply nails him down as to the facts of the matter he is commenting on).
It's no wonder that every member of this Michigan atv club who voted on becoming nothing but a sub-chapter under the kind of arrogant attitudes that you witness above...is not very damn proud of announcing to the rest of this world whether they actually now answer to that kind of master or not.
