clutch

Default clutch

yeah i was riding my friends trx300ex, and i was shifting and he is like don't shift like that, (pulling the clutch in and letting go) and he says let go slowly like you would starting out on first gear, but i don't know, he says it will mess up the clutch by shifting too fast


is this true

Default clutch

Letting it go slowly actually builds more heat and wears the clutch fibers more. All parts of the clutch will wear more. This includes the pressure plate, roller ball, actuator, cable, lever, everything.
