I know a "former" thief in my city who use to steal just about anything he could get his hands on. From snowmobiles to automobiles, you name it. Now the tables have turned on him. He has had 2 sleds stolen from him, and probably other stuff as well. Just goes to show you. What comes around, goes around.

I wish our 2 countries had a legal system that actually worked for the honest citizen, and not for the criminals. Maybe we should look what worked 2 hundred years ago and apply it today. I'm sure all kinds of crime would be reduced ten fold.

SaMsOn,

It sure would be nice if you knew what you were talking about. Our government in the U.S. did not make a law that we have a right to bear arms. It is one of the many rights enumerated in our Bill of Rights, included as part of our constitution. A right is not something given to us by anyone, especially our government, it's something that is ours simply because we are a free people living in a free nation and that right is inalienable. Our founding fathers included the right to bear arms in our Bill of Rights because that right is paramount in affording the protection of the other rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights and because every individual has the right to protect themselves, their families and property not only from criminals but from tyranny.

I would suggest that when you post your next bit of mindless ramblings about gun control that you at least take into consideration what all the facts are before you promote a liberal socialist agenda of total dis-information and mass hysteria concerning the issue.

Let me leave you with this thought as stated by one of our founding fathers Benjamin Franklin---"They that give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safty, deserve neither".

Folks, I hate to be an A@@ hole about this, But can we please get back to fourwheelers being stolen?? Fourwheelers period. I have no idea how this forum go to be a debate about gun control. If you would like to talk about politics and Judicial systems, go to cnn.com and enter one of their Chat rooms.

I would like to sadly say that my freinds highly modified blaster was stolen 3 days ago. The sad part is that he was trying to sell it. He had just put about $3000 into it and he was going to sell it to pay off his truck. They stole it in broad day light, around 2:00.

Folks, I have more good news about the Fourwheelers being stolen. Every Single Four wheeler that was stolen, has been recoverd and givin back to the owner. As for the guys that stole that fourwheelers, i've not heard about their Court date. I'm rather proud of our local law enforcement for pursuing this crime like they did. They were relentless about catching these guys. Not many law enforcement agencies would do this for so long i dont beleive.

ok i have a quick question. how does a post about thieves getting caught suddenly turn out to be a bashing on america and canadas judicial system? personally i dont care who is leading our country as long as those stupid laws against atvs stop. im getting tired of loosing the land where i ride. if we can get a decent leader in office maybe this will stop. and why pass gun control? if your quad was being stolen and the thief had a gun and threatened you with it well i guess its time to break out the old shotgun and tell that thief who runs that house. just my thoughts

Tony,
You say you dont care who runs this country, yet you want to keep your riding areas open. YOU have to get out and at least vote!IF you want your riding areas open, find out where the candidates stand on issues that are important to you. YOu want to keep your guns, dont vote Democrat, you want to keep your atv areas open. DONT VOTE FOR AL GORE!. You dont have to preach to people about your views, but at least vote and do something! Heck, voting for the prez only happens every four years anyhow.
