Hey Tree Farmer---you said "Neither have I, Joe; however, I HAVE snaked the cable UNDER my vehicle, threaded it through a ****** block anchored to a tree behind me, and hooked back to the rear of the vehicle. Worked."

--I also remember seeing you DRIVING through Cochranton with 3/4 of your winch cable wrapped around your whole ATV!!! Don't forget to wind the cable up after using.

Are you going this year?

I went riding with my brother in law and his friends. One of them had a hand crank boat winch mounted to the rear rack of is Big Red. Works ok, but the three wheeler is relatively lightweight. You can't be afraid to get wet either.

My father in law also has one pinned to the back of his Arctic Cat 454. You can't winch the 454 out by hand, but, we have pulled the unit off and used it as an extension cable.

Pflueeb, how could I POSSIBLY return to Cochranton after my previous humiliation? Could ANYONE face those 6,000 ATVers again, after that embarrassing scene, where I rode around the course totally ensnared in a rat's nest of 5/32" diameter wire rope?

Surely, were I to revisit Cochranton, I'd have to register under a false name, wear a disguise. After all, I have SOME pride; I am not incapable of experiencing shame.

Should I attend Cochranton incognito, what assurances would you provide you will not disclose my true identity to a jeering audience of thousands?

Treefarmer casually stated:

Tree, unless you get rid of the "helmet" there's no way you could hide

HEY TREE FARMER:

Congratulations are in order for your fantastically-written review of the new Bayou 300. It's nice you were given that opportunity. Now, why don't you go review a Polaris?

Dislike Polarises (and their riders)? Why no, Pflueeb, I'm an Equal-Opportunity ATV Person. Why, some of my best friends ride Polarises! I took one to lunch, just last week! Or was it week-before-last?
