All these people that think he's going to take our guns and stuff. The President does not make all the decisions. There are about another 100 people that I have to agree with him to make stuff happen. Every time there is a new president people talk about how horrible it will be...then leave. If you don't like how our country is ran, pack your bags and go live in Mexico.

You are right on that, Think of how many people in Congress are big time gun enthusiast. He will have to get them to go against their sport.

 

I'd like them to ban hand guns and stop making ammo for them I myself don't see a need for them .

Well, at least there'd be fewer Mexicans around me. And at least they'd be in the country legally.

I'm sure all the people in the Dallas area in the last two weeks alone that have shot intruders, legally, would differ greatly on that opinion.

It is "the right of the people to bear arms....". Interestingly enough the Supreme Court is finally starting to rule in favor of the Framers original intent that an armed citizenry is necessary for this republic to stand. Without the Second Amendment we would not have the others in my mind. If you want to defend your home with a baseball bat when an armed intruder comes into your home, that's your decision. I'd rather have better firepower than the intruder. I have to protect my wife, kids, myself, and my property the way I decide. Again, the only difference between a so called "assault weapon" and common hunting semi-autos is the appearance.

There are plenty of countries out there that share this opinion. You could move to one of them.

 

Again, it's a blessed thing to live in the United States. We have the Bill of Rights that spells out our freedoms. We don't need to look to other nations to figure out how to govern ourselves.
