How much faster are they and how hard are they to hop up? which one has more potential?

the banshee has been out since 87 never stopped production must be because people like it better.

 

to me it seems that the quadzilla would be faster...500cc versus 350cc. the banshee will be easier to hop up because it is still in production, and ne thing that can be done, has been done.

 

Quadzilla's were faster stock for stock. Even with the same basic mods done Pipes, filters, jetting and gearing quadzillas ripped. The Banshee motor has been around for 30+ years and has a huge aftermarket and alot of potential. The sky's the limit for the banshee and some builders push them over 100HP. Everyone but Yamaha quit making performance quads as part of an agreement to limit liabilites. People went sue happy after alot of injuries back in the 80's mostly involving children, 3 wheelers or alcohol, all of which should be avoided[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

what about 500 1 cylinder -vs- 350 2 cylinder?

 

Banshee are the fastest. Some engine builders are up into the 180 hp range now. The LT 500's need many mods just to be reliable. Then you need to raise compression to make HP and you'll need to pull start it or you'll break your leg trying to kick it over.
