anybody use nitrous on a cr 500 engine what kind ?are there any big bore or stroker kits available for these motors?

 

Soon I will be running a n.o.s. boonbocker is the way to go If you ask me. I cant find any big bore kits or stroker kits. If you find one let me know.

what carb and pipe setup do you run on your sweet 500? just triing to get mine amoving

 

i cut up a 1984 pipe in 4 spots and put back together in crosses over to the left side of motor its best fit i found

 

A custom cone pipe fitted from trinity. It works great. as for the carb I was running a stock 38 mil bored to a 39, stock needle 205 main and a 52 pilot. forgot the needle setting. I'm looking for a 42. mil keihnen but the biggest i can find is a 40.5. went from stage 2 to stage 5 on the porting so I need to up the carb and needle.
