Default 2002 Polaris Sportsman 90 Carb leaking fuel

I have a 2002 sportsman 90 that wont stop leaking fuel out of the bowl over flow tube. There is a constant drip of fuel, even with the fuel shut off valve turned off. I have gone so far as to the let the machine run with the gas valve off till it stales out.
I pulled the carb and had it cleaned up by a buddy. He does a really nice job. Thought we had it fixed and that night, DRIP DRIP DRIP
I am now starting to look for a rebuild kit thinking i need to replace the seat and needle assy. But every where i look, most places want over $35 for that assembly alone. And i cant seem to find a rebuild kit for that Mikuni carb.

Can anyone point me in a direction on where to locate a rebuild it please?

Also, has anyone had this problem with their sportsman 90?

thanks for your help

Parts for the little Taiwan and South Korean atv's can get expensive. This is the cheapest I've found so far. It does change part numbers to #0451699 but you can use either one. Also you might check in the Chinese section about finding cheaper parts places. You could have a leaking fuel shut off valve also.0450895 NEEDLE VALVE & SEAT ASM. $32.94

OPT,

thanks for the link to the cheaper parts. I really appreciate the help.

i sure hope that is the problem. I hate to keep dumping $$$$ on the carb. And i sure dont want to dump $300 on a new OEM carb.

If anyone has had this same problem, please let me know. The bike is in great shape and runs awesome. but i hate to dump that much into it when i only paid $400 for the entire bike. But, my 3 sons love to ride it..................

is there an alternative carb out there that will work and is cheaper to buy and maintain?
